I Survived the JoCo Cruise!

Talk about a way to start off the pandemic!

In March of 2020 I set sail with a few thousand other geeky folks to partake in the annual JoCo cruise.  What is the JoCo cruise you ask?  Imagine a cruise ship filled with boardgames, musicians, comedians, podcasters, authors, and then stick all that in the Caribbean, with stops in Santo Domingo, Grand Turk, and Half Moon Cay.

It was a ridiculously fun experience, even if the pandemic was really taking hold in the USA at the time.

Thankfully, I made it home just before all the cruise lines shut down.  I'm hoping to go back for another trip someday.

You can find out more about upcoming JoCo cruises here and also check out this in-depth article by the NY Times which really gives you sense of what it's like.

Just s small part of the game library on the JoCo cruise.

A small portion of the JoCo board game library, which boasts over 800 titles!
